ABOUT PIANOSACHA

I have been teaching and performing for over 20 years with a wide variety of age groups from 4 to 74 and pride myself on my ability to tailor lessons to your needs.  We don’t all want to play Mozart and work towards exams and that’s fine.  Alternatively if classical music is your passion and modern music isn’t of interest I can tailor lessons to suit you.
I have followed the Royal school of music syllabus and exams for over 35 years (surely I’m not that old!!!!!!!) and have taken pupils to Grade 8 and beyond.  I have achieved grade 8 in pianoforte, Grade 8 in music theory and also Grade 5 in cello.
I also love playing and performing any music from musical theatre to the latest hip hop.  If you want to play it, I can generally work it out and have you playing familiar music before you know it.
I teach on a fantastic Yamaha G2 grand piano but if you have a keyboard it is no issue and the skills can be transferred across
I have a very relaxed teaching style that hopefully makes lessons enjoyable.  The first lesson is always free so you can get a feel for what lessons are like and up to now I haven’t had anyone have the first lesson and not come back so I can’t be that off putting !😁
